- Some curry leaves
- 2 dry red chili
- 2 cups of water
- 1 tablespoon ghee or oil
- salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)

Step 1: Make Black Pepper-Eugration Powder Roast the seeds of black pepper and cumin seeds for 1-2 minutes on low flame. Allow them to cool, then grind in a thick powder. Step 2: Prepare the base of tamarind Squeeze the soaked tamarind to extract juice and mix it with 2 cups of water. Step 3: Cook Rasam In a pan, add tamarind water, turmeric, chopped tomatoes, crushed garlic and salt. Bring it into a soft boil and boil it until the tomatoes become soft. Step 4: Add the spice mixture Stir in the ground black pepper-era powder. Boil it for 5 minutes to maintain the flavor. Step 5: Add Tempering In a small pan, heat ghee or oil. Add mustard seeds, red chili and curry leaves. Allow them to crack. Pour this on the rasam.
